My Story

Photography has always been one of those unexplainable things. Something I just knew was meant for me the moment I came into contact with it. I was lucky to discover my passion for it at a young age. But I let fear get the best of me. I stumbled my way through the majority of my twenties, waiting for the right moment to fully immerse myself into what made my heart happy. I let myself get "busy" and spent time on mindless tasks that didn't feed my soul. I called myself everything except a photographer. Until one day, when I looked up and realized that I let nearly ten years pass by.

So this is me today; photographer, crazy cat lady, lover of food, lefty, minimalist at heart. I live in Texas, but I travel as often as possible and consider the Hawaiian islands my second home. There is nothing I love more than documenting life as it comes, framed through the viewfinder of my camera.

My vision

It’s my hope, desire, and vision to document people as they are. Nothing contrived, representing a moment in time that tells an authentic story. I want it to serve as a window to the past that will always bring back those emotions. To capture two people as if no one is watching, as if they are frozen in time. Images that are only aged by the people looking at them.
