Intimate Denton Wedding | The Smiths

I don’t even know where to start with these two. Lexie and Ben were the very first people to reach out to me after starting this photography business. Lexie and I hopped on a phone call to talk about their special day shortly after. We clicked instantly on style and expectations of what wedding photos should be. I knew we were a perfect fit when she told me that she wanted to capture everyone’s emotions, the little details, and most importantly, that they didn’t look like robots.

I always love meeting people over coffee before taking their photos, so we did just that. We bonded over our collective love of Torchy’s Tacos and Lockhart Smokehouse. They introduced me to downtown Denton when we took their engagement photos. They are the cutest couple I ever did see. I feel so lucky to have been the one they chose to capture this beautiful season of their life together.

After months of anticipation and planning, the day was finally here. I arrived at Locust St Inn and fell in love with this cute venue they had chosen. Lexie and Ben truly made this a day all about their love. They took time before the ceremony to have a first look and we took some magical portraits before guests arrived. The ceremony was just the two of them and their personal vows. The reception was intimate and sweet. The dancing was fire. It was the most perfect wedding day with their family and close friends. The room was full of love and it showed. I’m incredibly thankful to this sweet couple for opening up their lives and trusting me to capture these memories.
