A Weekend at The Statler Dallas

Staycations, mid-century modern design, and city views — these are a few of my favorite things. I’ve been dying to visit The Statler Dallas since I heard about the plans to restore it. The building sat empty for years and years and watching it come back to life has been a thing of absolute beauty. In the spirit of not holding myself back from experiencing new things and enjoying life, my hubs and I booked a weekend staycation for ourselves to enjoy this gorgeous hotel.

I was completely enamored from the moment we walked into the lobby. We checked in and dropped our bags in our room. It had a modest city view and the bathroom of my dreams. We wandered around until dinnertime, checked out the rooftop bar, and then headed to bed like the old married couple that we are.

The rest of the weekend was spent eating, relaxing, and checking out every little detail of this gem. I’m so glad we got to experience this MCM dream! If you decide to get married here, let your girl know.
